ComRes undertook a survey for 3M, a global innovation and technology company, into the attitudes of French adults towards online security. The survey shows nearly half of French adults (46%) are concerned about visual data security, with men being more likely than women to be concerned (52% versus 41%).
Furthermore, almost two out of five (38%) French adults say that at some point they had been able to see such information. Again, men are more likely than women to agree (42% versus 34% respectively).
ComRes interviewed 1,000 French adults online from 13th to 18th February 2013. Data were weighted to be demographically representative of all French adults aged 18+. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
