Pancreatic Cancer UK Public Awareness Poll
Poll of UK adults on behalf of Pancreatic Cancer UK.
  • Whilst the vast majority of UK adults (97%) said that they had heard of pancreatic cancer, fewer than four in ten (36%) said that they knew ‘something’ or ‘a lot’ about the disease
  • 71% of respondents could not name a single symptom of pancreatic cancer unprompted
  •  Whilst more people could correctly pick some symptoms from a list, knowledge levels were still very low, with only one in five (21%) recognising that a key symptom like yellow skin or eyes was associated with the disease.
